I cheered when they found her. Although they killed a blonde one season too late, in my opinion.

One thing's for sure, old Mr. Mummy must have some more up his sleeve even though the good guys seem to have all his cards now. Don't count on it because I still don't trust Jack's Squeeze's hubby, plus that primal scream which Jack let out at the end of the Coming Attraction means something pretty SERIOUS.

I did like last night's episode, but I did do a drumroll for my wife three times, and I was right all three.

PS- I really like the show, but there's NO WAY in HELL (L.A.), Jack could get around so fast! Between traffic, accidents, road construction, and signals, HA!

Yeah, I agree. But you know who I disliked even more?....Chloe! She was soooooooo annoying! The way she was all nervous and angry and everything. I'm glad they "killed" her off early in the season.

As for last nights episode, there's gotta be something more. The seasons less than half over (i think) and if it wanted too it could end with one episode. The good guys gained control of the reactors and everything seems solved, but your right mark, Habib (Wow, he did play The Mummy, didn't he? That's funny!) definately has something more up his sleeve...I can't wait to see what it is!

I think the only thing Maya was supposed to do was to set her mom up to get booted from CTU. I thought she was going to kill her mother somehow.

I kind of liked Chloe. I was a little sorry to see her go. Her anal rentitiveness was kind of funny, to me.

Mark...you're dead on. There's NO WAY anyone can get around L.A. at 5pm at the speed the CTU agents do. That's TV for you...

I hope everybody understands that Chloe will play a pivotal role soon enough. Chloe and Edgar...a match made in Heaven!

I dont know if it is my 24 "overload" or what...but i think this storyline better change soon.It looks like it will with the remaining power plants safe. The first half of this season seems lame to me and predictable.Maybe it is because i watched the first three seasons in the span of a month or so...and then this one right after, but compared to the previous seasons it has not done anything for me yet.

I wish chloe would come back.It seemed like she was one of the only ones who was loyal to ctu and jack.I am glad to see tony back though.

Ok, so what do you guys think will happen now? we see that the airforce guy is actually taking a stealth fighter instead of that other jet they kept showing in the background. and in next weeks scenes, they mentioned a "big twist". They have led us to believe that the airforce guy is going after the president, but I'm wondering if maybe he isn't going after CTU instead? Just a thought. Any ideas?

Yea, well you see this one? This was my dream, my wish....and it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back, I'm taking them all back.

I think you might be right...I thought they were gonna try to hit the President's plane (when it landed) with another plane, but maybe they're going after CTU. Didn't CTU get hit in season 2 or 3?

The twist, from what i saw, might have something to do with Edgar turning traitor. I wonder if the other woman who got fired by Michelle will come back looking for revenge...

Ya, CTU got hit in season 3. I forgot to mention the Edgar thing. I think you could be right about that one. And the fired "you'll be sorry for this" girl you mentioned...you know she's coming back into play.

You wonder what kind of counter-measures airforce one has on board if the jet is in fact going after the president. you know they never planned on one of their own stealth fighters coming after them.

I was also thinking that a crash-into ON THE RUNWAY would be less likely to be planned-for than an airborne collision. A dual-taxi collision might (at a military base) might be the kind of sneaky-sneak that isn't considered a strong possibility.

A music-related 24 note: the corporation that it behind all things evil in 24-land is called McLennan-Forster, also the name of the songwriting duo behind The Go-Betweens (Grant McClennan and Robert Forster). Entertainment Weekly interviewed a writer for the show (and G-b's fan) who admitted it was intentionally a tribute to the duo whose names "sound like they should be a law firm or something..."

Hey guys. My other favorite show on right now is Alias. I have a question (for my aunt actually) but didn't want to start a thread for Alias so I thought I would ask here. She is watching the seasons on DVD right now and wants to be caught up in time for next season (assuming there is a next season) but I doubt this season will be on DVD before season 5 starts airing. Does anyone know if they have been running reruns of the seasons during the off-season so she could get caught up that way? Thanks guys.

pE...THE FOOTBALL!!!! I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE FOOTBALL!!! Oh boy...this isn't going to be good. They could potentially start WWIII if they fire nukes across the globe. Everyone (that has 'em) fires back...IT'S WARGAMES FOR REAL!!!

Oh yeah...this is gonna get hairy! Fox is really pushing this storyline...they replayed the show on Friday AND Sunday!

Some lingering open questions:

1. Will the woman who Michelle fired come back?

2. Will Edgar and Chloe ever stop bickering?

3. Will the Michelle/Tony tension increase now that he knows she's boinking her boss?

edgar is dirty i think...or extremely traumatized by his mothers death...and not really showing it.Or it is now finally hitting him.

Tony will for sure have a problem with michelle boning her boss...especially since she was doing it while still married to T!!!!What a witch.

Ok, so we know that Michelle wasn't porkin' the boss. But the question I have is...

What is up with the friggin' VP? Is he just really unsure or himself or is there something else going on here? I think he's in on it. Think about it...not only do they get the football codes and stuff, but they get a guy in the most powerful position in the world, even if for a while.

Prolly not, but you never know with these guys.

The Veep could be dirty, or his known-wimpiness could be exploited to move the real dirtbomb on up the food chain, or that punk left over from Prez Palmer's administration could be dirty. Not to screw things up, but I recall that Palmer was coming back for some episodes at the end of the season. Also, this super terrorist keeps getting into big scrapes and stupid trouble, but he's the Jack of the Dark Side, so he always escapes.

I share concerns about the VP. SOmething's rotten in Denmark...

I did hear that Pres Palmer would be back late in the season. I also hear rumors that Jack's daughter will appear again. Maybe the mountain lions will finally get her...

There's a third rumor that says another LARGE cast turnover is in the works...that many people from this season will be gone next season. That rumor also includes speculation of a "true" cliffhanger ending for the first time on 24.

If you saw the scenes from next week episode, David Palmer is coming back to save the day! And it's about damn time. Only seeing him in those goddam All State commercials was really starting to piss me off!

This is crazy! I'm so glad the Palm is back, but they are almost getting in over their heads with this Chinese Embassy thing. But you gotta admit, Jack isn't messing around. Unfortunately, it's either Paul or (potentially) 50 million plus people. My wife and I got in a little discussion after the show. She was upset after Jack "let" Paul die. She said, if it was you, I would want them to save you. I said, you can't look at it like that. It's either Paul (me) or the entire East Coast. I said, if I woke up after my life was saved and heard it was because the doctors worked on me that the entire East Coast is wiped out, I'd be pretty pissed.

Anyway, intense show. Lot's of interesting "dilemas" brought up.
