Hahahah, did anyone see the episode tonight? At one point Jack was on the ground, handcuffed to a pipe, in a room with poison gas, AND a terrorist was at point black range about to shoot him, yet 30 seconds later the terrorist was dead, Jack had the terrorist's gas mask, and Jack had undone his handcuffs. What a man.
That's total Bauer...there's a lot of stuff on the Internet about how he's the next Chuck Norris, but obviously cooler...like the list that's going around, you are only alive because Jack Bauer wants it so...must be fun for Kiefer...
This gamer guy posted a cool visit to the set in conjuction with the game coming out. Definitely worth a read--supposedly Kiefer apologized that he didn't have more time to talk to the guy...always running out of time, huh?
this game deffinitely wins "most variety in a game" to me..
from 3rd person shooting,to driving,to interrogating,to bomb defusal,to code cracking, theres so many things to do in this game.
i wont give up much spoilers, but just so you guys know,it has nothing to do(ABSOLUTELY nothing) with season 5.
it is based on events that happened after season 2 and before season 3,and you find out why Max has suddenly vanished from the story of 24 altogether.(i'll tell you one thing, you find out why he isnt in the current seasons in the very end of the game)
Wow! Aamir, how did you get a copy of the game? Yeah I am really pumped about the interrogation as well. I didn't know about the code cracking...I did know that it's a season 2.5 thing and am looking forward to seeing how they resolve it.
Let me know if there's any other goodies you can share...I am salivating at the thought!

Edgar just came on last season, but the more you watch 24, you'll start to realize that no one is safe on that show. Aside from Jack Bauer, they have no problems about killing major characters off all the time.

Edgar was a fairly major character. I'm not sure I agree with Eric though: Kim seems to be just as safe as Jack. She's been kidnapped at least three times, attacked by a mountain lion, and now she is in the middle of a poison gas attack (which I'm sure she will survive), and she remains unscathed. The big surprise for me was David Palmer's death. For those who watched the first four seasons, Palmer was a major character in each one. He and Jack were the only characters to carry a sort of always-right-no-matter-what gravitas.

Tony is also pretty bulletproof. He's survived a couple bomb attacks and been shot in the neck.

I think Tony won't make it out of the poison gas. I think he'll sacrifice himself for the others.
Even Jack might not be untouchable. There's a rumor that Season 6 will take place, sans Jack, in a new (non-LA) location with a new cast. Not sure if that means Jack will die or what. But that's only a rumor...

I think something is going to happen between Tony and Christopher Henderson. I think it was set up a little too sweet when he told Buchanan not to cut any deals with him. As far as Edgar, I'm sad to see him go. As a character he kind of grew on me.

Edgar and Chloe were a great love/hate relationship. The last thing Edgar said was "Chloe", and she looked even more pained than her usual pained expression.

So if that's true, either Keifer Sutherland doesn't want to keep doing 24, or Fox is allergic to ratings.
Was Christopher Henderson working at CTU in any of the previous seasons, or did that happen at some undefined time prior to season one?

Also, what happened in the first hour of last week's airing? I don't watch anything else on Fox except the Sunday cartoons that didn't air this week, so I didn't know it was going to start at 8 this week.

It was pre-season one, although they alluded to the fact Jack busted some fellow CTU guys in the first season.. which is why alot of people at CTU didn't like Jack.

I think the first hour was mainly about Jean Smart getting pissed off at President Logan. Also she tried to make a move on that bald secret service agent. I forget what happened back at CTU, but the most important stuff was during the second hour. I'm sure you can find episode summaries somewhere if you're curious.
24 without Jack? Wow. They would need to get a new protagonist. I do think pE is right though: Tony seems headed toward a noble death. Life for Tony won't be worth living without Michelle.
I think pax was doing too much nitrous. No, the First Lady made no move on anyone, except perhaps to strengthen a confidant against the greatest waffling president (and HUSBAND) of all-time, I think...

I agree with PRG that Tony's gonna kill Christopher Henderson. They're both in the infirmary right now. I don't know about Tony sacrificing himself. Maybe. I'd hate to see him go because he's really one of the best characters on that show after Jack. If Jack ever did leave, Tony's probably the only person interesting enough to carry the show.
