Could someone please explain to me what is going on in that movie? I nearly choked myself to death in the theater!

Oh dear. I have to see this thing on Wednesday (birthday party). I barely slept a wink last night.

I guess the movie meant to say that their love transcended time, and that really there is no need for an explanation of it. Of course, that wont' explain anything

It's just an amazing mailbox

I didn't care a whole lot for "The Lake House". But I thought the original Korean version, "Il Mare", was very nice. Not that it made any more sense, it was just better in the long run.

i just didn't understand it.

This romantic fantasy using time displacement with a mailbox as a device to communicate between time dimensions was a fun, entertaining experience about how love "could" ripple between two distinct time lines that periodically intersect.

I saw this the other night, it was pretty entertaining.

Movies many times have the purpose to "entertain" and to be enjoyed not pondered over and over-analyzed. With romantic dramas, its the overall experience to be transported away from reality for a while and to discover variations on love and other emotions but ultimately to feel happy at the end. This movie is captivating romance with a twist of entertainment.
