Honestly, I haven't seen it, but I just noticed that it came out 1/6/06 and it's now gone from all but one theatre in the entire San Francisco Bay Area. It got an 8% on rottentomatoes.com, a 18 on metacritic and this comment from Chris Carle (IGN Filmforce) "Uwe Boll's best videogame adaptation yet. Wait... what does that even mean?"

I saw a small display ad for this film in "The Times" but it wasn't even reviewed in that paper. They must not have screened it for the press and the Times couldn't have been bothered to send a critic to view it on Friday so the review could have appeared on Saturday.
The movie wasn't that great, but for people who loved the games, it's more for them. It's not all bad and has some cool fight scenes, but it really does suck.
Easily one of the worst movies of the year due to its uneven editing, poor acting, and just almost incomprehensive plot. It was hard to watch and get through without wanting it to just end.

I thought the movie was pretty retarded… though I thoroughly enjoyed the overabundance of carnage. What was with the montage of slaughter at the end? Was that supposed to be deep and meaningful? There’s no debating that this was a really bad movie.

I have to say that this was one of my favorite movies of all times. because when you watch it stoned, it is the funniest movie ever. i have NEVER laughed as hard in my life as i did when watching this movie while high. just like tabuno said, this movie suffers from poor directing, poor acting, PISS poor editting, poor script, poor everything. its just so bad i couldnt stop laughing. when you get to the scene with the priests fighting, make sure you dont die laughing because i couldnt breathe through the entire scene. ever since my friends and i have seen this movie, we have gone out and rented every uwe boll movie and i have to say, each one is worse than the last. "Postal" is coming out soon, another video game to movie adaptation by uwe boll, and my friends and i plan on going to the theatre stoned to watch it. praise uwe boll!
