I'm not sure why you connected the Weinsteins to Gilliam's problems releasing Brazil in the U.S. Sid Sheinberg, the Universal chairman, is the guy who fought with Gilliam and eventually recut the movie for American release.

Yeah, I guess it's time for an edit, eh? Gilliam had problems with the Weinsteins for the Brother's Grimm. My mistake. I've even seen the documentaries about Gilliam's issues with Brazil.

Actually, that's pretty funny. Next time, I'll just PM you and tell you to fix it lo-pro (if you can do it before somebody else calls you on it). Sorry. Cool

No apologies necessary.

Neil Gaiman wants Gilliam to direct 'Sandman'. If it ever comes to the big screen, that is.

"I can't live the buttoned down life like all of you! I want it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles! Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"
