While Under The Tuscan Sun (2003) was Audrey Well's only second directorial effort, her commentary on the DVD was one of the most concise, professional, and informative description that I've come across in the few commentaries that I've taken the time to listen to. While the movie itself isn't by any means a classic, this little romance movie is solidly above average and a once through experience is quite satisfying for a date-movie experience and taken together with the director's commentary who reveals some quite potent experiences in themselves, makes this movie and the DVD a worthwhile gem of a set (particularly the old grandmother character and the old man with the flowers).
