This discussion topic is for TV fans who miss personal favorites that have been cancelled or have ended. I will start off!
1. Carnivale: I've always thought of this show as being extremely underrated. Plus, the end of the second season was phenomenal. 2. Dead Like Me: A very quirky show about death and the afterlife. 3. Home Movies: I miss it! But what a glorious run... 4. Six Feet Under: I haven't seen the last season yet but I've always found it to be truely mesmerizing. 5. Arrested Development: What the hell happened?

AD closed itself out, so it doesn't warrant inclusion, while Home Movies was starting to run out of steam.
For me, it would come down to FOX's duo of underrated (critically and commercially) comedic gems: Andy Richter Controls The Universe and Undeclared. Both were absolutely flawless, and both might have had a chance in today's single camera friendly world.
8. Reunion (Fox). Still waiting for a dvd to come out so I can actually see an ending to this fantastic show. 9. Roseanne except this time seen through Darlene's eyes (which I pretty much doubt will happen). 10. Beavis and Butthead. I'm a sucker for cartoons with ignorant people. Although they should give it a higher rating as I feel it's unappropriate for kids even though I watched it growing up.

Actually, the cast & crew of 'Arrested Development' were given notice about their cancellation & decided to give the show a neat & tidy conclusion. However, there could be plenty more adventures for the Bluth family! Same goes for 'Futurama'. The show had a kind of conclusion, yet, the cast & crew wanted to do & could have done so much more! The live action version of 'The Tick' is another show I REALLY NEED more of. It took a little getting used to, but, before I knew it I was looking forward to the next episode & became VERY upset when I turned to the station at the right time & it was no longer there! No warning whatsoever! I'd also like the animated version to return as well.

Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, ANNIE!!! You know, I'd heard the T.V. show was coming back & was watching Fox very closely to no avail. I remember Groening mentioning how he would love to do a movie in one of the episode commentaries, but, I hadn't heard anything about it until now. I Luv U for giving me this information, I am forever in your debt!
Oh, wait, you said DON'T get my hopes up. Scratch that last sentence.

Hey, I just learned that Comedy Central has just signed a deal with 20th Century Fox for at least 13 new episodes of 'Futurama' set to air in 2008!

That's great news... while Futurama has never hit the sublime heights of the Simps..it is a favourite of mine..
Oh, could I feel as I have felt, or be what I have been, Or weep as I could once have wept, o'er many a vanished scene; As springs in deserts found seem sweet, all brackish though they be, So, midst the withered waste of life, those tears would flow to me.

I think at the time when Futurama started, Simpsons was on a decline. (That decline, IMO, has not yet ended.) That said, the best episodes of the Simpsons were without a doubt some of the funniest and best-written half hours ever shown on television.

Whoa. I have a friend who LOVES that show & he's been trying to get me to watch it. I had mentioned I wanted to see "Serenity" & he has forbidden me of watching it until I've watched the series first!

I know it worked perfectly as a one series deal, but I really did love that show.
Also, bring back M.A.N.T.I.S. !!!! That got cut down in its prime..
oh, and Firefly is great fun, O my Monkey brother....

I think I'd resurrect Nickelodeon's Guts just so I can hear "The Rick" try to sound excited by some kids threwing nerf balls at eachother. Plus, Mo was smokin' back when I was 10.

1. Arrested Development- The best series that I have ever seen 2/3. Freaks and Geeks/Undeclared- Both canceled after one season, should have had at least 2 or 3. 4. Veronica Mars- First was the only good show on UPN, then the only good show on the CW.
