This new Amazing Race looks to be at least up to the level of the better races. Much better than 'Family Edition'.

The quality of the casting is above average too, there are a few teams I'm already rooting for.

The new Apprentice on the other hand...it just seems kind of like...all the previous Apprentices, again. Better casting than the last two seasons, but that's not saying much.

no reality show will ever be as good as "deadliest catch" on the discovery channel. that show rocked.

Hey, glad someone finally seconded that motion! The Deadliest Catch series will probably be my first non-comedic "tv on dvd" purchase!

I like 8th & Ocean. Does anyone else watch it. I saw Britt on the cover of Justine magazine and I want to get her autograph. I sent a fan letter to Irene Marie agency but I do not know if I will get anything back. Does anyone know where I could get an autographed picture?

Is anyone else looking forward to the new Last Comic Standing as much as I am?

Sure, half the positions will probably go to hack comics whose agents are the producers of the show (Ant, anyone?) And the winner will probably be some hack who's in a minority group and wants to tell you all about it (Dat Phan, anyone?)

But Dave Mordal, Ralphie May, Alonzo Bodden, and that guy who won Last Comic Standing 2 are some of the funniest comics I've ever seen.

After a couple of years only the Simple Life and the Apprentice still interest me. According to the Simple Life website the two girls are going to be playing mom, pretending to be pregnant, and cooking and cleaning. This, I have to see.

Who wants to be a Superhero...playing on Sci Fi right now Thursday at 8, is freakin' Hilarious.

Funniest Reality show I've seen in ages. Different though, feels scripted, very little interaction between characters, just lots of challenges...but this one guy, Major Victory, is a star in the making.

America's Next Top Model is by far my most favorite reality shows. For me, this exciting series is authentic without pretense or inclusive of staged, artificial script conflicts written into it. This series is the real deal that observes real people under real situations competing for a lucrative modeling contract. The series has intriguing real emotional situations, heart, and passion. The competition brings out both the worst and best of people, mostly the best. Being exclusively female contenders there is a fascinating competitive approach lacking with mixed gender reality shows. There is usually a much more ethical and higher principled and rewarding experience that comes out of this series than most others. Very refreshing.

Now that America's Next Top Model is over, I'm not into So You Think You Can Dance and Hell's Kitchen. Both these reality shows avoid survival games or gimmicks but deal with common everyday experiences that all of us have been witness to, nothing so exotic. Dance and Cooking. I am much more interested in reality, reality instead of made up games. Both dance and cooking are life career pursuits for some, something deeply meaningful that is a life long dream. How these people, many everyday people handle themselves are much more interesting to me. Hell's Kitchen has gotten a bad representation in part from its marketing trailers which only show the worst of the shocking scenes instead of the more uplifting experiences that also occur in the series.

I love Intervention, so much so, that I think I'm addicted. Imagine: me on that show, having an intervention to get me to stop watching Intervention. Think of the irony....

I avoided Hell's Kitchen until the last two seasons and then became an avid fan of Kitchen Nightmares. There's something so fascinating and satisfying, particularly with Gordon Ramsey's new seasons where real people, most of the ordinary people are scene in real jobs, many that we can personally identify with. This stuff we can relate to, feel, and appreciate. And when Gordon Ramsey is successful, its not just an individual or diners who succeed, in this case it can be an entire community. The depths of despair and ignorance, the mental anguish and mental health achieve is this new series is truly impassioned, honest, and impressive. This is one of the best reality shows on television - it comes from the heart and means well and actually does well.
