I am in the under ground canal vaults and can not figure out how to get out, any ideas??

First I'll let you know that there is already a discussion thread for Half Life 2 here.

Second, I recently got the game and it is probably the best game I've ever played. Unfortunately I'm not as far as you are yet. However, there is a pretty good walkthrough for the game that has helped me get out of one or two pickles.
