Wow, this is great... I tried to post this question on other sites to no avail. Anyway, I'm having trouble buying some basic items. Things that I've bought before and either sold or lost (due to my roommate starting fires). For example, I'm in Level 4 - Hot to Trot and it won't let me buy a microwave or a trash compactor. Any suggestions?

yes,i have a sugesstion,why don't you move out your roommate,it would be much easier

There is a cheat that you can put in at the start of the game which means that anything you purchase is free except for the bills that you need to pay. At the start menu where it has "get a life", "play the sims" etc hold back the back four buttons (L1, L2, R1 & R2) and a cheats screen pops up. the only way to exit this is by clicking on Done, therefore before clicking on done it shows the letters of the Alphabet then type in Freeall and everything is free even if you cannot afford it you can still buy.
