My sis has got stuck looking for the cookery book in Justice Strauss' library. Claus is in that basement room, and the switch on the wall makes the trapdoor in the ceiling open. We've messed around a bit and discovered that if we jump we can get onto an 'invisible' ladder. We've climbed up to the opening, but we can't actually climb into the room above, its as if there's an invisible barrier. We've tried jumping up into the room from the top of the ladder, but we just keep falling back into the room below.
Can anyone help us get up into the room? Or is there some other way to get out?

hey if you can help me then i might be able to help you i am looking for that same book i am in the room with all of those books and the card catalog i can pull the drawers out of the card catalog but it does not help what am i doing wrong or am i overlooking something if so help me that i might beable to figure the part out were you are and help you.

Your switch-puller has a longer range than you might imagine. Maneuver around until you can glimpse a pull switch high above you. This will help you later in the game too.

I need help getting to the olives for the pasta dish. I am in the large room past the dining room. I have killed the misquitoes and I have stepped on all 4 of the panels in the floor but nothing is happening. I am sure there is something on the other side of the niche where the settee is but I can't figure out how to get there. Thanks.

hi i really got stuck on trying to find the 2 packets of pasta or what ever it is from the cookery book can some1 pleez tell me were to find it i have been trying for ages and oh yeh the as in a reply to one of the posts which asked what to do with the buttons on the floor in the entrance hall stand on all 4 of them as quickly as you can then a some floorboards should lift up and on 2 of the longer sides of the floorboards should be 2 buttons press them both and 2 doors should appear on each side of the hall

THE PACKETS OF PASTA ARE IN A ROOM IN THE KITCHEN. THERE ARE BARRELS IN THAT ROOM. GO TO THE OPEN BARREL. SUNNY WILL GO THROUGH THE OPEN BARREL. THE 2 PSTA PACKETS ARE IN THAT ROOM.
