i have just started playing grand theft auto:SA.i've got a trainer package alongwith the CD but i am not being able to use the trainer.

also what do the yellow stars lying all over the map mean.

A yellow star is a cop bribe. If you have a star -rating, you drive or walk over a star, and it'll take away a star. As for trainers, I never use them, so I can't really help there, sorry.
