Both of those directors sound like pretty weak choices, couldn't they find anyone better, I think there is alot of promise in these movies, why won't anyone good take them? Or is this script pretty weak?

The last I heard, the script was still being written and they were set to shoot in a month. I would imagine that the script will be fairly bad if the movie is made, simple because they have missed some important details and relationships. It is as if they make their movies without thinking ahead as to how they can connect one plot to another. I think that both the choices are simply there because of schedules, it would be almost impossible to get a decent director this late in the process.

They have a release date set: May 26, 2006. The director *eek* Brett Ratner. On a related note, Rush Hour 3 has been up in the air in response to Chris Tucker's unbelievable demans. These include final editing rights an some awefully large sum of money. I forget exact numbers.

ANYWAYS, coming back from the tangent, there are no trailers for X-men 3, and rumours that Ratner has created a mutant hooker..
