While not perfect in all respects, this movie is significant in its bringing new life and for the first time in years to bringing science fiction genre to a new level of achievement, avoiding the typical rehashed use of science fiction set design, conceptual and technical features along with its nice blend of action, characterization, and feeling.

I did like it, although, I was a tad disappointed that it didn't have more from the cartoon. At least sazandra was in it. Her hands for feet thing was great. The best thing that did happen when the movie came out was they finally released the original 'toons on DVD. Now if we could just get "The Maxx"...

well, i like the effects as well the actions. but the story, not really. . quite boring.
