Meet Joe Black(1998) presents Brad Pitt in what I consider one of the most unusual and most wonderfully done performances in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Mr. Pitt is death who takes over a human body in order to experience life. His portrayal of death is a wonderful experience as he provides an otherworldly demeanor in the context of human reality and his intereaction with Anthony Hopkins and his daughter in the movie is amazing. Brad's distant, almost ghostly, soulless presentation is eerie and seductively compelling.

I found that movie quite good, if slightly overlong. But it does contain one of the funniest scenes of all time. I think you know which one I mean. BAM! PAF! BOOM!
