This is a petition to remake the movie "Eragon", for New Line and Cinema with Peter Jackson as Director. The reason of this petition is the total failure of this tentative to ruin the book "Eragon" of Christopher Paolini in this movie directed by Stefen Fangmeier and maid in 20th Century Fox with script by Peter Buchman. A book like this deserves much better and respect. We go to try, that this petition arrives at the New Line and Cinema, with our signatures. We will never know if the order can come to be taken care of, but least we try. Who's with me? (If you dont like this movie or if you know that this book deserves much better pleas, sign!)

Good luck on your quest. i seriously doubt Peter Jackson could be convinced to do another fantasy movie, much less that a major movie studio would remake a 2006 movie, but power to the people, eh?

Hey great idea.* You should team up with that guy that wanted to see a movie version of the TV show "Tru Calling," you guys would be unstoppable.
Personally I'd like to see Peter Jackson do something more original or something further away from fantasy after his 12+ hour trilogy LotR, but hey maybe he'll go for it.
*(not really)

You may want to spruce up the language in the petition. I assume English is not your language, but you won't get far with the poor grammar and syntax if you're sending this to English-speaking film exec.
Just a suggestion.

What? He'd have Joe Pesci machete Kyle MacLachlan and Elizabeth Berkley in the swimming pool? Showgirls is just fine the way it is, so with all due respect to Marty, I "agree with you and say No Soap!"
"Naked Woman, Naked Man Where did you get that nice sun tan?"

I would like to see Eragon adapted to flick form with complete reverence, changes only made if they truly improved the film. For example, it would need to retain all tie-ins with Eldest, and great characters like Katrina and Solembum would need to be included. They also threw the book's descriptions of Eragon and Arya out the window and designed them as completely generic movie heroes. What's up with that?
