Question:
I don't know who would win for certain between these two, because General Grievous can't use the force. Please give comments and preferances!

Choices:
General Grievous
Doctor Octopus

Grievous can't lose. While the evil Doctor does have a helluva reach, Grievous has the moves. I'm refering to his appearance in the Clone Wars 'toons. He was alot more agile there than he was in the movie. If you haven't seen them, check 'em out. It actually shows why he's hacking & coughing at the beginning of "Revenge of the Sith".

Dr. Octopus with no trouble. Grievous is great, and he is very powerful, but Otto is a beast. If he could toss a car twenty feet in the air without any real try.......

I'm backing Grievous.... he's a dirtier fighter than Octo, and the cunning gutter wrestler is the dog to bet on in any street fight, I reckon!~

So? Just because he fights dirty doesn't mean he automatically wins. From what we saw in SM2, Dr. Octopus is just as dirty, only much stronger, faster, and bloodlust.

I didn't say anything about an automatic win. I was just writing a whimsical post...do you not like me man? Smiler

When you make a statement, you need to be able to back it up.

Dear god awesome man, this is getting ridiculous! First you put words in my mouth, and then you respond with a serious ponderous remark about backing up a statement...in a thread thats' pure fantasy; a light-hearted question that requires no thought or anaylsis.

Somewhere along the way, I've annoyed you, so I won't bother responding to you anymore, ok?

I'll take it from here, my Aussie friend Big Grin! I'm gonna HAVE to agree with Ishmael. Have you seen the "Clone Wars" mini-series, Awesome Man? Dr. Octopus had trouble with Spider-Man! Grievous killed Jedi without a problem! In the first volume of "Clone Wars" he killed 4 Jedi & a Padawan, & severly injured one! In the second, he took out 3 Jedi! Spider-Man is strong & all, but a Jedi is even stronger & a whole lot more powerful!! Besides, Grievous has a robotic outer shell, while Doc Ock only has the tenticles going for him. Grievous would cut the bad Doctor's tenticles off before the fight would even begin! I don't think those things could deflect a lightsaber, let alone 4 of them! Then, after that, all he has to do is give that pudgy bastard a beating the likes of which he could never recover! Remember the end of "Spider-Man 2"? When Peter finally got pissed, he did beat the tar out of Otto. Just imagine the @ss kicking a killing machine that runs on pure hate would produce!

How's that for backing up a statement Wink?

Hey, this is what nerds do Big Grin! I also forgot to mention that Count Dooku trained the General how to fight. Trained by a Sith? Oh, yeah, Grievous is an AUTOMATIC WIN. How long will this fight last? .00002 seconds Wink!

Ah, but you never said CLONE SAGA. I was referencing the character you saw in the film, who was easily different in tactics. All I said was the one from the movie, not the show.

Well, it's still the same character. You just got to see more of what he is capable of in the show. In the movie, he pulls out 4 lightsabers, then does this helicopter blade twirling thing. I don't see the Doctor able to do ANYTHING to defend against this attack. Also keep in mind, Otto isn't a warrior, he's a scientist. Yes, his tenticles are powereful, but they are the only edge he has. Grievous is a lean, mean, killing machine! Literally! I like Dr. Octopus, but General Grievous is the MAN! Well, he was the man, before he crashed his ship & ended up a bunch of organs in a robotic shell!
