This is maybe not a good answer, but I'd just want to watch them all consecutively. 24 hours is two seasons at a time. You'd have the whole show done in 10 days, and you wouldn't even have to keep Alex's (from A Clockwork Orange) eyes forcibly open the whole time. I hope all the people who "claim" the Simpsons later episodes aren't up to snuff take advantage of this 24-hour program. Maybe it'll turn your life around. Cool

A list of the 24 'The Simpsons' episodes I would wanna sit and watch all in a row? Okily-dokily! Big Grin

1."Krusty Gets Busted"
2."Black Widower"
3."Cape Feare"
4."Sideshow Bob Roberts"
5."Sideshow Bob's Last Gleaming"
6."Brother From Another Series"
7."Day of the Jackanapes"
8."The Great Louse Detective"
9."The Italian Bob"
10."The Way We Was"
11."Lisa's First Word"
12."And Maggie Makes Three"
13."OH Brother Where Art Thou?"
14."Brother, Can You Spare Two Dimes?"
15."Who Shot Mr. Burns" (I count these 2 episodes as 1 since they're really 2 halves)
16."The Front"
17."Homer Goes To College"
18."Secrets Of A Successful Marriage"
19."Homer Defined"
20."Flaming Moe's"
21."Homer At The Bat"
22."Two Bad Neighbors"
23."Mountain of Madness"
24."Weekend At Burnsies" - If you ain't seen it, watch it now! Hilarious! Big Grin

Is it obvious I'm a Homer Simpson and Sideshow Bob fan?

Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"

I think I make the other third of the “biggest “Simpsons” fans here” team. Obviously, the primate child and mark know a lot more than I but I like “The Simpsons” quite a bit.

With that being said, I think it would be too hard to pick 24 random shows to watch. I would have to go with mark and just watch 24 consecutive episodes. I would start with maybe the second season and go into the third season (which many claim to be best season of all.)

The guy whose user name is pulled from a Simpson's quote takes extreme offense to this Cool

I like the Simpsons a lot, but making a list of favorite episodes out the umpteen seasons they've produced is pretty tough. I'd really have to sit down and watch them all, but who has the time to do that?

I’ll be Ben Gazzara, you’ll be Gena Rowlands.

Geez, guys, out of over 400 episodes you can't actually name 24 you'd love to watch over and over again? If you guys aren't "Simpson's Nerdy" enough to actually know the names of your favorite shows, you can do like I used to for my episodes I recorded from the telly yeeeeeaaaaars ago, and make the title a vague description. Like, I called the episode where Homer met his mother "Homer's Mom" or the episode where Bart became a hall monitor and Lisa went bad I called "Bart Good, Lisa Bad". It's just that easy!Big Grin OR (if ya have some time to kill) you can go to The Simpsons.com and flip through all 18 seasons and the few eps. that have been shown so far in the 19th. In the meantime, I'll type ya what, Homer07, I'll just share as many of MY faves (by season) as I can. I ain't doin' nothin' else and it'll help me find out what season I like the MOST! Of course, I ain't gonna do ALL of them in one sitting, so I'll do a couple at a time for ya. Sound good? How's about you share what episodes are YOUR favorites, or are you just trying to find episodes you might not have seen?

SEASON 1
"Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire" - The very first episode! Ya gotta watch this one!
"Homer's Odessey" - You see how Homer actually became a safety inspector!
"Moaning Lisa" - The first appearance of "Bleedin' Gums" Murphy!
"Homer's Night Out" - You find Bart DOES look up to Homer!
"Krusty Gets Busted" - The first "EVIL" Sideshow Bob episode!

SEASON 2
"Bart Gets An F" - I actually get a little misty eyed for poor Bart. He tries SO HARD to pass the 4th grade and still fails. Frowner
"Simpson and Delilah" - Homer gaets a head-full of hair and moves up in the plant! Smithers is VERY evil this episode.
"Treehouse of Horror" - While I love ALL of the Halloween episodes, I especially love this one!
"Two Cars In Every Garage & Three Eyes On Every Fish" - One of my favorite "Burns heavy" episodes!
"Dead Putting Society" - Homer actually manages to get a rise outta Ned!
"Bart the Daredevil" - You actually see what lengths Homer will go to protect his son. Poor, Homer. Frowner
"Itchy & Scratchy & Marge" - Lotsa 'Itchy & Scratchy' 'toons in this episode!
"Bart Gets Hit By A Car" - Mr. Burns: "I should be able to run over as many children as I want!" Fantastic!
"One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish" - You see how Homer would wanna spend his last day on Earth.
"The Way We Was" - How Homer and Marge fell in love. Very sweet and funny.
"Homer VS. Lisa And The 8th Commandment" - Another sweet episode of Lisa's love for her father.
"Principal Charming" - PATTY DATING PRINCIPAL SKINNER!?!?!? Ya GOTTA see this one! Big Grin
"Oh, Brother Where Art Thou?" - Herbert was a success until he found out he was a Simpson."
"Bart's Dog Gets An F" - Bart sure loves that stupid dog, doesn't he? Wink
"Old Money" - This has the second sweetest ending of every Simpsons episode so far.
"Brush With Greatness" - Another GREAT Mr. Burns episode!
"Lisa's Substitute" - Very sweet Lisa episode.
"The War Of The Simpsons" - Homer may be a thoughtless babboon, but he loves his wife!
"Three Men And A Comic Book" - Being a comic collector, I know just how they feel at the end!
"Blood Feud" - Another great Burns episode!

SEASON 3
"Stark Raving Dad" - Michael Jackson is a big, fat, white guy and Homer has NO IDEA who he is!
"When Flanders Failed" - Homer is extremely evil to ol' Flanders, but he shows he cares by the end.
"Bart The Murderer" - Classic Bart episode! How could the mob NOT love this kid?!
"Homer Defined" - Probably my FAVORITE Homer episode. I love all of the dictionary references!
"Like Father, Like Clown" - The debate between Bart and Krusty's dad was great!
"Treehouse of Horror II" - Fantastic Halloween episode!
"Lisa's Pony" - I LOVE the episodes that show how much Homer loves his children.
"Saturdays Of Thunder" - I GOTTA rewind the "shark attacking the kid in the Fatherhood Institute" scene EVERYTIME!Big Grin
"Flaming Moe's" - I can and can't believe how much of a jerk Moe is to Homer after he steals his drink!
"Burns Verkaufen Der Kraftwerk" - Burns sells the plant and Homer is the ONLY ONE fired!
"I Married Marge" - I forgot to put this one on my list up top! This should be between numbers 11 & 12.
"Radio Bart" - I just love that song, "We're Sending Our Love Down the Well"! Wink
"Lisa the Greek" - Like I typed, I love a "Homer loving his kids" episode.
"Homer At The Bat" - I know all of the words to "Talking Softball". I love this episode that much!
"Seperate Vocations" - While Bart is on the side of law & order, Lisa's breakin' rules!
"Colonel Homer" - This man is so in love with Marge, he doesn't even realize this woman is hitting on him!
"Black Widower" - Sideshow Bob returns!
"The Otto Show" - Otto lives with the Simpsons and gets on Homer's nerves. CLASSIC!
"Brother, Can You Spare Two Dimes?" - Herb's back, and he has an IDEA!

That's all for now. I'm gonna go watch a movie. Or maybe a trilogy or series again. I've been having medical problems and haven't been able to do much BUT watch movies and pound away on a keyboard! It's either The Den, or the living room, I don't feel well enough to go outside. Ya know, just in the past couple of weeks I've watched BOTH "Grindhouse" films back-to-back, "The Matrix" Trilogy, "The Lord of the Rings" Trilogy, the "Back to the Future" Trilogy, the 'Firefly' series PLUS "Serenity", "Apocalypto", "Transformers", the "Spider-Man" Trilogy, "1408", "Knocked Up", "The Jungle Book", "Dawn of the Dead" (2004), "The Innocents", and "Evil Dead II: Dead By Dawn". The last 3 I watched Halloween night. I woulda watched "Army of Darkness", but it was just after midnight after I finished "Evil Dead 2". There was no point to go on, Halloween was over Frowner. In between movies, I'm watchin' my 'Simpsons' seasons on DVD in order, from the 1st Season (which was pretty hard since the animation is so bad in quite a few episodes and the voices had yet to be perfected. Homer sounds like an entirely different guy! Thank God there are only 13 episodes!) to the 10th. At the moment, I'm up to Season 5, "Homer Goes To College". I haven't made up my mind if I'm gonna start watching the rest of the seasons I have on VHS. The quality just sucks SO MUCH compared to the DVD's. Especially since a number of the episodes were recorded on a mono VCR. To tell you the truth, I haven't watched my tapes since they've been releasing them on DVD. I haven't even been recording the episodes from this season because there doesn't seem to be much of a point anymore, they're all coming to DVD any-old-way. I was only recording them because they wouldn't release entire seasons to VHS, only certain episodes. It's been fun, type to ya later! Smiler

I'm sure there are way more than 24 episodes of the Simpsons I love. My main problem, since I don't own any of the DVDs, is trying to remember them all. Plus I don't know any of the names. TheSimpsons.com helps a little bit, but it just jogs my memory of the episode's basic plot. The bizarre little in-jokes and pop-culture references are really what make the show.
