It's a tie between Ralph and Comic Book Guy.

I'm tempted to say Otto Mann. Stoned rocker/slacker is an appealing sort for me.

A question though; what exactly is a tertiary character in The Simpsons? I mean I know what tertiary means...but doesn't that imply there's a secondary set of characters too? What separates them? It's hard to tell esp. in the Springfield universe when seemingly peripheral characters can get their own episodes and become fairly prominent. Just anyone not Homer/Marge/Bart/Lisa/possible Maggie? Sorry if this comes off as snobby, it wasn't my intent.

And I guess I'll veer off topic a little in this post too! Phil Hartman fans (esp. M_B): Ever watch News Radio? It was probably my favorite sitcom when I was younger, whereas The Simpsons probably is now. I see a common denominator!

Ya answered your own question! The show is called 'The Simpsons', so anyone who is NOT a memeber of the MAIN Simpson family would be secondary.

I LOVED THAT SHOW!!! Hartman was, indeed, my main reason for watching it. After he was taken from us (WHY, OH WHY DID HE HAVE TO BE TAKEN FROM US???!!! Frowner), Jon Lovitz filled the void he left. I just realized somethin'! He's a Simpsons regular, too! Was I only enjoying 'NewsRadio' because of it's subtle link with my favorite animated family?

Nah. Everyone on that show made me laugh! Big Grin

Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"
