Hi I basicly what to find a cartoon that's similar to The Simpsons but is not American. I'd be very happy if I could get some answers.

Don't know if you're still hangin' around for answers, but (Crayon) Shin-Chan I think is fairly similar to The Simpsons, and is Japanese. Apparently when it came out in the early 90's there was a similar backlash to the titular character like there was for Bart, because parents thought he'd be a bad influence on their kids. Dysfunctional, working class family, crudely animated, mixes social criticisms with absurdist humor. It's probably all I got.
