Yeah Mark, that was a great ending. The credits were hilarious. I love this happened:

Bart: Dad wait, you haven't heard my story yet.
Homer: Your story? You're too dumb to tell a story.

Tonight's "Simpsons" was one of the best recent ones in several years, actually. It pretty much covered all the angles.

The first section had some really "avant-gardesh" Edmund Gorey/Bruno Bozzeto animation, unlike almost anything I've seen on the show before. That stuff was so striking that I really hope they include some in this year's movie.

Then, they did a musical spoof of The Sound of Music, all tied into Lisa tutoring Cletis's kids and Bart getting psychoanalyzed. The icing on the cake included the surprise special guests, plus Marge's touching gesture of donating her savings for Homer's breast reduction to help Bart make time with Meg Ryan.
