The new season of the Simpsons starts tonight, so I'm starting this thread so we can talk about the new episodes as they air, and so I can link to torrents for those who missed them.

(From TV.com)
The Mook, the Chef, the Wife, and Her Homer

After Lisa befriends Fat Tony's son Michael, Fat Tony invites the Simpsons over for dinner as a sign of gratitude. Shockingly, Fat Tony is shot by a rival family moments after Michael admits he would rather be a chef than take over the family business. Fat Tony's main thugs want Michael to be the new kingpin, but when he declines, Homer steps up and leads the family on a major mob spree

It was pretty funny. I think American Dad was the night's funniest show, although I did get a couple of gut-laughs from Family Guy.

There is no reason at all why The War At Home should be on TV, much less on Sunday nights.

Rupert with the big muscle body had me howling, otherwise Family Guy kinda sucked.

Chris' attempt to keep the conversation going at dinner made me laugh. Peter seeing Chris' evil monkey pointing at him and calling it Meg was pretty good, too. Plus, I always like it when the evil monkey appears.

Episode one was great! If you didn't see it download it,tones of funny lines like the talk between the goons -priceless. EP 2 didn't really hold my attention, they need to remember what made the show great, (less is more). cool, so far so good.

Simpsons 1803 Torrent

"Please Homer Don't Hammer 'Em

Hoping to see a new side to Homer, Marge convinces him to buy a refined collection of carpentry books. To Marge's dismay, the books only gather dust until she accidentally breaks a nightstand - and uses the books to fix it herself. Soon Marge is hammering together everything from birdfeeders to doghouses and it isn't long before she decides to transform her new skills into a full-fledged business. Unfortunately, the residents of Springfield don't trust a handywoman to make repairs, so Marge hires Homer to pose as a "front" while she handles the real work. Meanwhile, Bart finds out that peanuts are no longer allowed at Springfield Elementary because someone suffers from an allergy. But this loss becomes his treasure when he finds out that the allergy belongs to his nemesis, the one and only Principal Skinner. Before long, both Bart and Homer are in over their heads and it's up to Marge to nail things back together."

Still downloading at the moment. I'm optimistic after the first two this season.

Last night's Simpsons was awesome. For the first time in a long time Simpsons was the funniest show of the night.

If you missed it, hop on the torrent and experience the hilarity.

Worst season ever. Quite a lame and looks terribly like computer made not a cartoon. Simpsons is going down. And that's sad.

Three episodes in and already the worst season ever?

Jump to conclusions much?

Dwell hard on your retarded post. All three this season have been excellent, like the show's been for the past three seasons.

I'm leaning towards what the last two posts said. I thought the drumming episode was just decent, but the mafia and allergy ones were surprisingly good.

And I bet if you looked on tv.com you could easily find a worse season, el Toro.

I am a die hard. Simpsons is the only show that I feel I have to see every week.

The first three episodes were amazing. Amazing like the Simpsons haven't been in a couple of seasons. Amazing in a renaissance kind of way.

Other than Moe N' Lisa (hilarious again), the last three, especially Treehouse, have been terrible. In fact, I'd say that the Treehouse episode was quite possibly the worst episode of the Simpsons ever.

It's so weird, because so far this season I've felt that each episode has either been absolutely terrible, or completely brilliant. Nothing in-between.

I'd say so far so good. I'd rather have 13 great episodes and 13 terrible ones than 26 average episodes.

Very hilarious parody of "The Perfect Storm". The "Big Wave" scene was DEAD ON!!! You can really tell they've switched from cel painting to computer coloring & it is VERY beautiful!

Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"

The Treehouse of Horror episodes seem to be getting worse and worse every year.

I enjoyed the Simpsons' parody of the intro to Da Ali G Show. Seems more like something Family Guy would do (one more rip-off wouldn't hurt), but The Simpsons did it well.

I don't know about you, but tonight's "Simpsons" had me laughing steadily, right up to the highlight, the end credits, with "This episode is dedicated to all those who died in the Star Wars films", and all those dedicatees, including "unfortunately, NOT Jar Jar Binks".

"Naked Woman, Naked Man
Where did you get that nice sun tan?"
