Not sure if this discussion has been held before...perhaps ones similar to it are in existance. I apologize in advance if it has been held elsewhere.

I have been told that Will Smith may be cast as a major role in the film 'I am Legend'. I don't know why, but I am troubled by this.

This prompted me to wonder what are some of the oddest roles you could imagine actors/ actresses in?

In my imagination, it would have to be casting Adam Sandler in '1984'.

How about Keanu Reeves as a lawyer in The Devil"s Advocate(1997)? How about Keanu Reeves playing anyone or anything that requires higher than a 5th grade education?

Never did see that movie 'Something's gotta give' but seeing Keanu Reeves in the preview was odd enough.

Al Pacino taking on the Reese Witherspoon role in Legally Blonde 3 might be interesting. Unless Harvey Keitel beat him to it...

Vin Diesel as a lawyer with hair. It was in a fairly recent movie that I don't even know the name of because it was in and out of the spotlight so fast.

Vin Diesel as a stock broker with a little hair in Boiler Room was Vin Diesel's best performance to date.
