I like Angelina Jolie and Kirsten Dunst, but I really LOVE Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine in RE Apocalypse.

After Naomi Watts was drilled into my mind afer watching Kong I guess I can agree to that. Rachel McAdams wasn't she in Mean Girls & the Notebook? How old is she anyway? p.s-In mean girls I liked that other burnette girl, not Lohan but the other one.

The actress who drives me wild is the French actress Emmanuelle Beart. She hasn't really had a breakthrough role in an English language film, but had a small role in the first MISSION IMPOSSIBLE film and starred in a film in the late 1980s called DATE WITH AN ANGEL. I don't even remember her in MI and haven't seen DATE.
She is probably still best known for her first film, Claude Berri's MANON OF THE SPRING. She was also in a Jacques Rivette film -- LA BELLE NOISEUSE -- where she plays an artist's model and spends a good part of the film in the buff.
She really didn't pop for me, though, until I caught Francois Ozon's EIGHT WOMEN, a film populated with eight French beauties, including Danielle Darrieux, Fanny Ardent, Isabelle Huppert et all. Beart was the beauty who stood out. Since then, as they say, I've had my eye on her.

I believe Rachel McAdams is 25, way too young for me, I'm afraid. She was really good in Mean Girls, and what's so funny about that is that she's really a very nice person. I hope and pray that she doesn't let her popularity go to her head and give in to the Hollywood glitz like Lindsay Lohan. She seems like a very down-to-earth person and I hope she stays that way. Yes, she was in The Notebook and Red Eye more recently, and now I'm looking forward to watching her as she grows and matures. quote: Originally posted by I <3 Katie Holmes[M.Mori]: quote: Originally posted by tomwhite56: Tossup between Naomi Watts and Rachel McAdams. I find Rosario Dawson to be a real looker. She really hasn't had a great role, though she works quite a bit. She was the only actor/actress in RENT who wasn't in the stage version I believe. RENT, however, was panned and despite Ms. Dawson's presence I'm giving her a wide berth.
She was also just about the only good thing in ALEXANDER. At least she was nice to look at in her small role. Again, another stinker film.
She was also pretty good in Spike Lee's 25 HOURS, a film I didn't like and not too many people saw.

She was around 27 in Mean Girls. She's 29 now. Hottest Actresses in my opinion: Alyssa Milano Kate Beckinsale Salma Hayek Jessica Alba

I don't think Holly is a hottie, but I do remember when "THE PIANO" came out Pauline Kael I believe reviewed the film and said that Holly had a "heart shaped bum." I don't know whether she meant that as a compliment or not. Meanwhile, an actress I am mad about is Sandra Oh. There is a sweet, little Canadian film called DOUBLE HAPPINESS that came out in the 1990s. That was the first time I saw her or noticed her and have followed her career ever since. She now is very well known through TV as much as anything as well as her role in her then hubby's film SIDEWAYS. Since then, Sandra & Alexander Paine have split, so there is still hope. I also melt when I see Thandie Newton ever since I saw her in an Australian film back in the eighties. She's had a steady, if relatively low profile, career since. Most recently she was in the ensemble cast of CRASH where she is molested then saved by cop Matt Dillon. Finally, I consider the French actress Emmanuelle Beart the most beautiful actress in the world. I melt when I see her. She hasn't had much luck in English language/Hollywood roles. The only two I know of are DATE WITH AN ANGEL, which I didn't see, from the late 1980s and a small role in MISSION IMPOSSIBLE. Her signature & breakthrough role was in MANON OF THE SPRING. She's been in many French films since MANON was released in the late 1980s, but she really jumped off the screen for me in Francois Ozon's EIGHT WOMEN. You also get to see a lot of her in Jacquette Rivette's LA BELLE NOISEUSE. Time for a cold shower.

Some of the choices are interesting. Zooey Deschanel for example -- an attractive girl no doubt, but if I didn't know she was an actress and saw her walking down the street, I would note her as an attractive girl and probably forget about it by the day's end. But there are some actresses that are on an entirely different level of good-looking...the "Are there seriously women that look like that?" level. Rosario Dawson, Natalie Portman, Piper Perabo, Halle Barry...if I saw one of them in the above scenario, I'm sure I'd do a double take, have to remind myself not to gawk, etc. I also find Maria Bello very sexy...and Gina Gershon is a knockout, in a bad-news-you'll-regret-this kind of way.

I disagree - I find Zooey unique and would definitely notice her. Some of the common choices are overrated IMO.

To each his own - there's no discounting personal taste. In real life I tend to favor more unique looks over classic beauties as well. But I can't deny that Halle Berry or Catherine Z-J have exquisite DNA. To call their looks overrated is like saying the Beatles aren't that good -- be prepared for opposition

I actually do think Halle and Catherine are a little overrated. They lack sparkle IMO. But as you said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
When I get a crush, I base it on more than just looks, too. Personality and intangibles are important.

I'll add a couple more to my list:
Brandi Burkhardt (used to play Siren on Passions) Amy Adams Alison Lohman
It seems the biggest heartthrob right now is Scarlett Johansson - like Halle and Catherine, she's definitely pretty, but doesn't do as much for me as she does for others.

After reading up on Grindhouse, I had forgotten just how hot Rose McGowan is. She is truly dynamite and I love her light-colored skin. I am also deeply in love with Rosario Dawson, she looks great all of the time. Others that are really hot that I am sure have been mentioned are Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Halle Berry, Heather Graham, Scarlett Johansson, Salma Hayek, and of course Natalie Portman.
