The man is getting old! He is into his fifties now and he just can't entertain us the way he used to. It is very disappointing, but he has always considered himself to be a family entertainer, and as such, this decline into Disney fare is to be expected. I wish that he would do some more asian films though, as opposed to relying on bad Hollywood movies for work. He could at least play an older character there in an martial arts movie, without having to ham it up as a stereotype for North American audiences. It truly sucks to see him doing crap like the Tuxedo, when just a decade ago he was blowing minds as the Drunken Master! Oh well, most physical actors careers go into decline at the same time as their bodies. Thankfully he has an enormous body of work to look back upon fondly.
"If it were beneficial, their father would produce children already circumcised from their mother. Rather, the true circumcision in spirit has become profitable in every respect." -Jesus, from the Gospel Of Thomas

His main problem is that he now relies on CGI and special effects in place of thrilling stunts (a la "The Medallion" and "The Tuxedo"). His best movie in ages has been "Around the World in 80 Days" and thats not saying much....at all.
