What are some characters you've seen in films that serve no purpose for plot/ story/ character building? Without them, the movie would have gone on just as well or even better!
By the way, you're not allowed to take the easy way out by mentioning Keanu Reeves.
Actually, Mr. Blue (Eddie Bunker) didn't add much to Reservoir Dogs besides his 'blowjob' line. I think Chris Penn or Tarantino himself could have pulled it off. Other than that, he was merely a prop.
