couples of weeks after the (always) mighty fine Wayne "the train" Hancock Viper of Melody there is another strong release in the outlaw country genre, its the somophore album by J.B. Beverley & the Wayward Drifters Watch America Roll By, if you like Mr. Hancock or Hank III do yoursefl a favor and check it out

its great!!!

I'm intrigued by the term "Outlaw County". I'm going to go listen to these albums you listed, but what exactly makes up Outlaw Country?

more Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams rather then Toby Keith, Garth Brooks etc...

It's attitude, not following the Nasville corporate way, music and lyrics as well. The sound is more authentic/roots and the lyrics well are mainly about alcool, drugs and heartbreak... as you would expect from true country...
