I know there is a lot of debate about the merits of this book, and the reality of her "awakening." As it is I know that I found a lot from it, and enjoyed her skill in writing. I am a man and there is also a lot of talk saying it is just a feminine story, which yes it has a feminine tinge but it is still a revealing adventure for a reader to follow. The characters are very vivid, and often feel as caricatures but still lead to a very profound understanding that life is about living in the moment and learning to find your true identity.

I believe it is worth a read and judging for yourself. Let's debate it.

A fairly scathing account of the book, with which I agree, can be found at http://www.worldhum.com/books/item/one_mans_odyssey_int..._pray_love_20080211/

I picked up my sister's copy and started it, but it's basically just a cliche-riddled waste of paper.
