I fucking hate metalcore. It's everything that's wrong with modern metal rolled up into a bunch of bands that sound nearly identical with stupid names, and pseudo-sexist lyrics.
I think if you gave them a bunch of listens, you might wind up really liking Butthole Surfers, Boredoms, and Melt Banana.
I'm trying to see how many threads I can mention Melt Banana in, btw. But all jokes aside, it's kinda annoying the lacking mentions of their album this year.

1. There is nothing "wrong" with metalcore. Metalcore makes a valid contribution to metal.
2. I will Admit, metalcore has a consistent sound.
3. Metalcore band names are all different. Just as are band names of any other genre.
4. To generalize all the lyrics of every song from every band in a genre with a "pseudo-sexist" label is presumptuous.
5. If you don't like metalcore, i suggest you don't listen to the music.
6. Why do you feel the need to use profanity to get a point across? That is childish.

Though I can't say I've listened any recent bands that would be considered "metalcore", I was into a lot of metal and hardcore back when I was (yes, you guessed it...) 14-17. Of course back then I had never heard the word metalcore before, it was usually either straight-edge or just plain old hardcore. Even though I have only heard one of the bands you listed (Hatebreed), if I had to make an educated guess I'd have to say that most of them sound a lot alike. I'd also hate to break it to you but those names are not at all unique. They are all different. Not a single one of those bands have the exact same name, but that does not make them unique. Almost all of them are references to death, decay and other "dark" sounding words.

Just because someone has a different opinion than yours doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to post their opinion here. This is a discussion forum.
Anyways, here's some of the quote-unquote metalcore bands I was listening to back in the day. Coincidence that they're pretty much all on Victory Records and Solidstate? Probably not, I was only sixteen
Snapcase Strife Strongarm Living Sacrifice Zao Earth Crisis Training for Utopia Vision of Disorder All Out War Poison the Well
I might have to dust these off sometime and given them another listen, its been awhile.
The word "better" is subjective, no? Wouldn't the word "different" be more appropriate?
Not exactly. Let's put it this way. I think you will find stuff you like better, simply because you will be exposed to so much. Although these days with the internet, maybe kids already know everything.
Someone mentioned both Bleeding Through and Throwdown. Worst. Bands. Ever. No offense, but shouting "Raise your fist in the air, DRUG FREE!!!!" is neither thought-provoking nor controversial or whatever they were going for. And i mention these two bands in particular because they're a part of my home scene (the only scene we really have... name one great band from Orange County? You can't do it, can you?)
Someone download jud jud. AMAZING a capella hardcore parody.
On another note, listen to the song "Reveille" and try to picture it played by a no-talent one-chord-wonder playing in Drop-D. That is metalcore... Except the following bands:
Botch Dillinger Burnt By The Sun OLD Cave In Converge Harkonen The Red Chord
You know what, i don't even know what metalcore is so I'm gonna stop there. You could call Black Flag metalcore when they made "My War," and that just about slays everything else mentioned here.
