I recently read an article that stated Carcass have reformed and will be playing some major festivals pretty soon.

Apparently Ken Owen is too ill to participate, but gives the project his blessing. The drummer from Arch Enemy will be handling drum duties.

Anyone else looking forward to it?

I'm looking forward to it - only if they go back to the style of the pre-Heartwork albums. I really was never a fan of anything they did after Necroticism. That's probably why I don't like Arch Enemy.

Can anyone recommend me Folkish Black Metal in the veign of Zuriaake? Please do not mention the obviousness of YnGizarm, and I also do not want any Viking Metal for this rec, Finntroll are not what I am looking for.

I know what you mean with reference to Swansong.

Necroticism remains the best album as far as I'm concerned.

But come on! - The guitars on Heartwork are MONSTROUS! I love that album too.
