Hi! I have not heard the album yet but I will get it. I am re-descovering them and just finished listening to "New Tattoo". I think I need to catch up... I have tickets to go to see them in London. It's going to be a blast!
How does the new album sound like???

It seems this thread has been abandoned. Because this band was reunited, I try to make some splashes and revive this thread instead of start a new one.
Threads on bands such as the mighty Crue (TM) often prove unpopular, mainly because they are seen as a mark of poor taste. That's a bit of a shame because some (not all!) of their records are great fun and you can talk about them for hours.
I personally liked everything up until Dr Feelgood (with a slight dip in 'quality' for Theatre of Pain) Their intellectual value is nil and they are culturally horrid but I can't deny it's all thoroughly entertaining. Some of the guitar parts actually sound heavier than a lot of the thrash bands from that era.
Mick Mars had a hip replacement. I know it's terrible but that really cracked me up.
I could talk about them for ages.
They are the band you hate to love!
Edit: I orginally listed the guitarist as 'Tommy Mars'. This is a result of listening to a lot of Frank Zappa recently and an accidental reference to one of his band. Mick and Tommy would not be happy with the mistake. Particularly Tommy.
