Dim Mak has been around for years...used to be called Ripping Corpse. From Jersey, anyone heard them before? Christ, they rip. I've been a fan since Enter the Dragon (first cd) came out in 99, saw them live in Jersey and they are hands down the best band I have ever seen live.

Anyway - they dropped off the planet for a bit and are now back with a new cd Knives of Ice. If you like really heavy well thought out metal that is just brutal - check out the songs available for download on the label website, if you like them - I'll tell you buying the cd....you won't be let down. They are like a storm that never subsides.

I listened to their songs. I'm not impressed, they sound like every other hardcore band out there trying to be hard. There's nothing new here, nothing I find all that inspiring. Just a bunch of guys banging on drums really fast, growling lame lyrics in to a microphone and trying to sound tough. If you're looking for good hardcore metal, try Pantera, they are truly a great band, or were.
