In an attempt to do some last minute birthday shopping for my to-be nine year old brother, I stumbled upon what could be "the next big thing". Game Boy Advance Video cartridges. These compact videos are filled with decent quality cartoons (mostly Nickelodeon fare, but some Sonic and TMNT). They come with about four episodes in one cartridge (44 minutes) and the program allows you to do most anything you do on a DVD player (FF, Rewind, pause, Select Chapter, etc). Personally, I think this is a terrific idea!!! Unfortunately, there are not many titles, BUT I have not heard of any people actually buying them Frowner sooo if you have a GBA or SP do us all a favor and go get a couple of paks (they are priced at $20). Spongebob seems to be a popular show for all ages so that's a decent enough purchase. The Nickelodeon liscence is very promising---if sales are upthere could be a possibility of Classic cartoons! I mean if there becomes a line of Rocko's Modern Life cartridges I'll happily buy out the store!
