Finally, a new Zelda for a handheld. The GBA has been out since what? 2001? and this is the first new title for it? Good. I have the original and A link to the Past for playing on my DS and I pre-ordered this one. I know I'll like it - however, I'm tired of saving the 'princess', she should get with the program. You're either a part of the problem or part of the solution.

Does anyone think this game will be worth the wait?
Has Nintendo waited too long and this title will simply be 'lost' in the current mix?
Is Zelda becoming too dated?

Discuss my madness until I return with my thoughts once I have some time put in on this one.

Zelda can never be too old but I must agree that it looks as though Link's latest will get lost in the end-of-year shuffle

It's incredible, actually, and I hope it sells well. one of my favorite GBA games of all time now. just wait until developers get as comfortable with the DS

Its a really good game, pretty close to being my favorite Zelda game yet. I still haven't beaten that damn final boss yet though.

K...I finished the game a couple of weeks ago and have let it all sink in. I like it - but it definantly (SP?) isn't going to be a classic Zelda title. The overworld was way too small (little more than half of LTTP?), the levels were a little too easy making the game feel less than epic and short. It was nice to have all the elements of previous zeldas tossed in there - made this feel like a 'BEST OF' cd.....you know....it's full of hits but somehow seems to come up shorter than the sum of it's parts?

Kinstones are ok, but they by no means are thrilling. The whole 4 sword concept is kinda weak to start off and it's getting thinner and thinner. I hope N drops this weak idea while they can. I guess I expect more in a handheld title now that I've got ports of such good console based games like LTTP and Super Mario World....
Capcoms doing the DS Zelda as well......I may just pass on it.

7 outta 10

I was pissed about the DS version being another four swords... very disappointing, they could have made another fucking ocarina of time if they wanted... however am drooling for the GC Legend of Zelda 2

I was a great little game for the gameboy, ok the size of the world and length of time to finish did bother me, but ITS ZELDA!!! It is still worth it, IMHO

..The classic Zelda formula is really gettin' stale...They need something to freshen things up, but quick!
