ohh ok, but i guess it only works for a particular year at the end of march and the end of june* (not may, i'm dumb). mine's really inaccurate, i guess it's not very up to date, but here it goes anyway:

1. todd barry - medium energy (hilarious stand-up comedy album with like 52 really short "tracks." i gave up listening to music for lent so this is what i listened to instead.)
2. yeasayer - all hour cymbals
3. samamidon - all is well
4. nick cave and the bad seeds - dig, lazarus, dig!!!
5. todd barry - falling off the bone (38 tracks on this one)
5. okkervil river - the stage names
7. the shins - wincing the night away
7. samamidon - but this chicken proved falsehearted
9. liars - drums not dead
9. man man - rabbit habits
9. bloc party - silent alarm

The album I've most listened to is probably 'Santogold' by Santogold. The album is just so damn good and I can listen to every track. Which is pretty rare these days...

Looking at LastFM my top five of albums released this year are the new Mountain Goats, Frighthened Rabbit, Black Spade, The Hold Steady and Sam Roberts.

Plus the Spoon's discography.

According to last.fm, over the last 6 months, I've listened to these 10 the most:
Vampire Weekend - s/t
A Place To Bury Strangers - s/t
El Guincho - Alegranza (I'm so sad that he cancelled his appearance at P4K...)
HEALTH - s/t (surprising since I am pretty indifferent about this album)
Cursive - The Ugly Organ
Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago
The M's - Future Women
Do Make Say Think - Winter Hymn Country Hymn Secret Hymn
Evangelicals - So Gone
The Unicorns - Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone?
