I'm anticipating Morcheeba's Dive Deep, Gnarls Barkley's second album, Wolfmother's second album, and as Dork mentioned above, Year Zero Part Two.

I mean, it's been a decent amount of time since their last, but I've seen nothing that would give the impression that MMJ is in the studio.

Crazysauce. I'm the freaky mainstream metalhead around here, only I can anticipate albums like this.

What is due first....the next Postal Service or DCFC album????

I think/hope it's Postal Service. Think Ben Gibbard can repeat what happened on the first one. One of my favs of the decade....

Yep. It's called "Skeletal Lamping" and it's apparently 100 pieces of songs all put together. Those are the rumors I've heard so far.

Oh - I am super-anticipating the new Avalanches record, if they finally put it out instead of busting out singles and mixes. I want to see what "so party you will die" sounds like.

Ah well. I have faith in Wolf Parade - if anyone can pull that off, they can.

I read somewhere though that they had their first gig setup as aband before they even had played any songs together as a group. I'm sure they will be fine. Sometimes spontenaity is an essential trait in song writting. If they think too much about it, it all starts to feel samey...

Any word on when the new Wolf Parade will be released?

People have talked about MMJ and whether they are coming out with a new album. I remember hearing that they skipped a music festival several months ago (can't remember the name of it) in order to start recording the new album, so I have to assume it will be released in '08.

Looks like they skipped Bonnaroo, which is a big thing to miss. Alright then! My hopes are up for a 2k8 MMJ release!
