I just update my list when I'm bored. Which is pretty often...

I am more and more impressed with "April" after every listen, has a good chance of slipping into the top five for me.

I never hated any of you/I loved you all at the time

That's a really long post for someone complaining about too much detail being given to album ratings.

Maybe he feels more passionate about essays than he does about lists... now I kinda wish he would have made a list explaining his numerous reasons for why lists suck. O, the irony!

Reminds me of that poll I once saw asking if people liked polls or not. It turns out 100% of people like polls - well, 100% of those that answered the poll, of course. Everyone else hates polls...

Which reminds me of that joke that there's two kinds of people. Those that like lists and...

Which reminds me of a recent poll with a highly ironic finding. When asked if President Bush is a uniter or divider, 50% said uniter and 50% said divider.

Is anyone really bothered that badly about detail being given to lists? Nobody really cares about lists. Nobody who reads a list of best albums of the year actually thinks "Wow. So that album IS the best of the year! Now I'm set straight!" They're just a fun thing to do in your spare time to sort out your thoughts about your hobby, and hear what other people think.

Agreed. Lists are just fun to read, to see what other people are thinking and enjoying. We really shouldn't even be arguing about it.

By the way, nice palindrome.

note to self: Robyn's self-titled having come out this year only here (even though i've had it for the past three years), it'll top my year-end list no matter what
