My list still remains this (the "?" I'm kinda confused about, so they get their own little list):

The Cure
Of Montreal
Brian Wilson
Annie
Clipse
TV on the Radio
Lily Allen
Junior Boys
Deerhoof
The Cool Kids
I'm From Barcelona

Antony and the Johnsons?
My Bloody Valentine?
The Postal Service?
Patrick Wolf?

Interested to hear but not excited:

Bloc Party
Stellastarr*
The Von Bondies
Mogwai
T.I.
Cam'rom

I didn't know Junior Boys had a new one coming out... I hope it's better than the last one.

Aw why do you say that, I loved So This Is Goodbye, more than Last Exit.

Seriously? I say that because I bought So This IS Goodbye before even listening to it and... well, I feel it's terrible. Not a redeeming song on it.

I did the same thing but with Last Exit. I don't think it's as bad as you think So This Is Goodbye is, but that's because it has "Birthday" on it ^_^.

I feel exactly the same, but I can't figure out why. Does it not sound identical stylistically with Last Exit? Can you identify the differences that make you and me feel so differently about their two albums? I can't.

I really can't say So This is Goodbye is a very good album, in my opinion. But I really like the songs "In The Morning" and "FM". Surely one of those has some redeeming qualities?

Loved "So This Is Goodbye"... though it's not really my usual kind of music, I'll admit.

I recently saw Andrew Bird live and he played a lot of new music which he told the crowd was from a new album just finished. Hopefully it will be released this year...

Wasn't that awesome?! I saw him a month or so ago twice, and each time he was phenominal. The new songs sound great too, but he said a few times that the album is supposed to be released early next year.

I agree, it was pretty freaking awesome. This was the 4th time I've seen him over the last 3 years, and it was by far the best. He came on as part of a 5 piece band and actually rocked--I much preferred it to when he is alone on the stage. The new songs sound fantastic, probably my most anticipated album of 09.

If we needed any more proof that 2009 will rule, it is that "Middle Cyclone," Neko Case's new LP, will come out in March.

Her 2006 album was by far the best of that year so my hopes are high!

Los Campesinos - We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed, set for October 13th. They already released my favorite this year, so maybe they will overtake their top spot. I just hope it doesn't suck.

What is the deal with the Doves? First it was 2007, then summer of 08...

I never thought this would be the case, but I'm looking forward to two albums on Saddle Creek the most: Sebastien Grainger (the ex-vocalist/drummer for Death From Above 1979) is putting out a solo album as Sebastien Grainger and the Mountains, which I have been excited about for a while. They also recently signed Land of Talk, whose Applause Cheer Boo Hiss EP was exceptional. They're both out this fall.

I'm also looking forward to the new Okkervil River, Of Montreal, and Deerhunter albums. I have very high expectations for Microcastle .
