I'm expecting the leak sometime in the next 2 weeks to a month, although it could be any day now since so many March releases have already been leaked.
Tell me about it. I've been scraping around the net almost daily for this one... The anticipation is killing me.

The new one, The Hungry Saw, by Tindersticks is being released on April 28. I am sure people like sk can't wait so that they can remind the rest of us just how much better they are than The National.
----- If you don't love me, I'm sorry.

oh well , to tell you the truth i dont expect a mindblowing comeback.i only hope Tindesticks to release "something" good...you know, after all these years seems so hard to top their first 3 excellent records.actually , it seems impossible for any band to top the quality n brilliance (especially) of the "Tindersticks I" album . btw, the comparison with the National was only a challenge or a bait to get your attention n give the younger members of metacritic the chance to hear Tindersticks (i still believe that National sound like b' class tindersticks...)

sk did get me hooked good on Tindersticks I. I'm still hunting down Tindersticks II, but I'm interested to see how they sound nowadays too.

I'm really excited about Rabbit Habits by Man Man. I had completely forgotten about it, and now it's just a few months out. I really think that Man Man have a number one album in their system somewhere. Something akin to Random Spirit Lover. I could really see them making something that is monsterous and beautiful at the same time.

I'm pretty excited about the Man Man record as well. I've been a fan ever since Man In a Blue Turban... Good band.
I had a stick of CareFree gum, but it didn't work. I felt pretty good while I was blowing that bubble, but as soon as the gum lost its flavor I was back to pondering my mortality.

I'm looking forward to several releases already mentioned like Tapes 'n Tapes, Wolf Parade, and the Walkmen; but also some of the more mainstream faire due out this year by:
Weezer - I know Make Believe wasn't that good, but I found it strangely listenable (except for We Are All on Drugs). I did really like a few tracks though, like Perfect Situation, Hold Me, and Freak Me Out. I still hold on to hope . . .
Franz Ferdinand - I thought You Could Have It So Much Better was, well better, than the debut. I know I'm in the minority there, but while the singles might not have been as strong, the album had more variety and a few excellent tracks (The Fallen, Walk Away, Eleanor Put Your Boots On).
The Presidents of the United States of America - I don't know if anybody pays attention to these guys anymore. I really liked their last release, Love Everybody. They still write humorous tunes full of animal references, but also prove that they can still put out a damn catchy pure pop song.
Raconteurs - I don't know if anybody else enjoyed Broken Boy Soldier or not (I haven't been around long enough to see it mentioned anywhere), but I thought the entire album was excellent. Sure, the lyrics could get kind of corny on some of the songs (even though I love it, Intimate Secretary sounds like a more rockin' version of an Oasis song), but the energy and variety more than made up for it for me.

I really really want a new Kamikaze Hearts album. Anyone remember Oneida Road? Amazing. Also, a new Califone. But I haven't heard anything.

Let's see. These aren't in any order, btw - just the first, I guess. Guillemots - Red The Hold Steady - Stay Positive My Morning Jacket - Evil Urges Death Cab for Cutie - Narrow Stairs (yeah, I know. i have a weak spot for 'em) Portishead - Third Islands - Arm's Way Of Montreal - Skeletal Lamping That'll help round out a top ten, I think.

I am really excited about this as well, but I really don't like the album name at all. But anyways if the album is anywhere near as good as "Boys and Girls in America" it will be fantastic.
I never hated any of you/I loved you all at the time
