I was heavily into this label when I lived in NYC (about 5 years ago) - got into it when I happened upon Coldcut playing at Other Music. Hell yes. For those of you who know Other Music, you know how intimate that was.

Other favorites from the label:

Funki Porcini - everything, but especially Hed Phone Sex

Up, Bustle and Out - One Colour just Reflects Another

Amon Tobin - Permutation (not so much after this one)

Wagon Christ - though actually I prefer what he did as Luke Vibert, which I don't think was on Ninja Tune. And his Drum 'n Bass for Papa - super good.

I've sort of moved away from electronic music lately, but from time to time I'll listen to one of these and think, "damn, I could get back into this...."

The new Coldcut album has a lot of things going for it: check "Just For The Kick" and the title track "Sound Mirrors" to see.

For sure. DnB For Papa is so tasty.
