I agree with mark, that song is way too easy to give hints. I mean, come on, it's the opening lines!

Geez, excuuuuse me for asking! Wink

I looked it up, and I can honestly admit to not being familiar with this band. Maybe a bit embarassing, I suppose. Seems like someone should be able to get it, though.

I'm not a fan of them either, but I do know it

Street Life - Roxy Music

Little Sally Walker sittin' in a saucer
Oh how I tossed that ass up
Like a mission in the woods
Woody Woodpecker would if he could
But I didn't want to pass it up

"Oh Sh*t!" by The Pharcyde (off a classic album)

"I'm listening to mountain to sound
And the way it's panned is cool
But when I get back home to you
There's got to be something more than that too"

Do you like the part you're playing?"

More lyrics from a different part of this 1967 song:

"You go through changes
It may seem strange
Is this what you're put here for?"

That one's the closer from Love's 1967 album Forever Changes, "You Set The Scene".

Easy one for the follower:

"I've never known happiness
I've never known what sweet caress is
Still, I'll be always laughing like a clown"

"Concrete Jungle" by Bob Marley.

"You say anything at all, and you know that you can call
and i'll be right there for you
first love, heartbreak, tough luck, big mistake
what else can you do"

I don't need no stinking hint.

It's "A Girl Like You" by the Smithereens.

You like to dance to the rolling
head of the adulteress
You sing in praise of suicide
We know you're useless
Like cops at the scene of the crime

Jeff Buckley - "The Sky is a Landfill"

A candy-colored clown they call the sandman
Tiptoes to my room every night
Just to sprinkle stardust and to whisper
Go to sleep. everything is all right.
I close my eyes, then I drift away
Into the magic night.

Nice choice, jb. My mom loves Roy Orbison and I do too. That one's "In Dreams".

"I'm beat down and half brain dead - the long lost king of fools
I may be dumb but I'm not stupid enough to stay with you"
