Here's more of the lyric. Should be easy for any fans of this Florida signer/songwriter. This one's from his 2002 debut. I didn't realize it when I posted this lyric that there's another lyric from the same artist just above these posts originally from crazed. Fragile Kid A should get this one easily as he got the last one.

Mother, don't worry
I've got a coat and some friends on the corner
Mother, don't worry
She's got a garden we're planting together
Mother, remember the night
That the dog had her pups in the pantry?
Blood on the floor and the fleas on their paws
And you cried 'til the morning

"Upward Over the Mountain" by Iron and Wine

"You start a conversation you can't even finish it.
You're talkin' a lot, but you're not sayin' anything.
When I have nothing to say, my lips are sealed.
Say something once, why say it again?"

Great lyrics, by the way.

The Dude: "It's like what Lenin said... you look for the person who will benefit, and, uh, uh..."

Donny: "I am the Walrus."

"I'm waiting
Please come back
I've got the guts now
To meet your eye"

"What the f**k is he talking about, Dude?"
Haha, anyways:

"Sludgefeast" by Dinosaur Jr.

"Well I hear the whistle but I can't go I'm gonna, take her down to Mexico
She said oh no, Guadalajara won't do"

The next line is Jambalaya., although it sounds more like "Shine the light-a".

I think you stumped us, mark. I'd say it's time for a new lyric.

OK then, same band and lyricist:

Salutations at last down on my knees
I heard the bugle this morn blast reveille
Woke from a dream where I was in a terrible realm
All my sails were ablaze I was chained to the helm
And now I am overwhelmed
I'm overwhelmed

Actually this was answered correctly last night, but the person removed that answer. Therefore, if anybody wants to post some new lyric, I'll tell you the answers after that. Otherwise, keep trying. The only thing I will add is that the band was once called the equivalent of the "Sagebrush Doors".

Okay, I dug out my copy and played it until "#1 Hit Song" came on. Does that count?

If so, then here's an easy one:
"There are some things you can't cover up with lipstick and powder."

If not, please disregard.

"Girls Talk", my fave version is Dave Edmunds.

Is it in your head or between your sides?
