Not even this could make it any better. Shut up, mark.
I must confess that although the first few titles came quickly, I had to resort to allmusic for the final two or three.
Anyway, nice one on the "Of" suggestion. I don't think I even bothered to search for that title, thinking it an unlikely name for a CD (unlike "Coconuts" of course).
Oh, and I do actually have 10 desert island picks too:
1. The Who, Quadrophenia 2. Pete Townshend, Rough Mix 3. Rolling Stones, Let it Bleed 4. Dylan, Blood on the Tracks 5. The Clash, The Clash 6. Soft Boys, Underwater Moonlight 7. Kinks, Arthur 8. The Only Ones, Special View 9. The Plimsouls, The Plimsouls 10.Bob Seger, Live Bullet
Shins - Chutes Too Narrow (too catchy) The Avalanches - Since I Left You (classic. great flow/vibe) Wilco - Summerteeth (more cheerful music than AGIB or YHF)) The Beatles - White Album (1 million listens and still going strong) The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds (great compositions) Nuetral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane...(Duh) Brian Wilson - SMiLE (amazing sound quality/flow) Four Tet - Rounds (gotta represent for the electronic side of things) Animal Collective - Sung Tongs (great vocals, chilled out, would probably sound great in solitary) Radiohead - Kid A (one of my fave all time, never gets old to me).
It's a tough call because I could list the top ten things I enjoy right now. Of all the newish albums I picked, I did so in thinking that they may stand up over time (fingers crossed).

I fell in love with the first cute girl that I met.
Replacements - Let It Be Pixies - Doolittle Jeff Buckley - Grace REM - Automatic For The People Radiohead - The Bends The Shins - Oh, Inverted World Bob Dylan - The Freewheelin'... The Stooges - Fun House Hamell On Trial - Choochtown Neutral Milk Hotel - In An Aeroplane Over The Sea
An interesting way to think about my albums, so here it goes: 1. Abbey Road, The Beatles I never tire of any song on this album. 2. All Things Must Pass, George Harrison. For spiritual inspiration. 3. American Idiot, Green Day. For days when I would be angry over being stranded. 4. Blonde on Blonde, Bob Dylan. For poetry. 5. Thriller, Michael Jackson. In case I wanted to dance with myself. 6. No Fences, Garth Brooks. For those times when I wanted to appreciate the simplicity of island living. 7. Jimmy Buffet's Greatest Hits. How can you live on island without a Buffet album to help you believe you are the luckiest person alive. 8. Flaming Pie, McCartney. For some reason this album is endearing to me and relaxes me. 9. Let It Bleed, Rolling Stones. For those moments of the blues and for the song "You Can't Always Get What You Want." 10. Precious Memories, Alan Jackson. After all, I am a clergyman.
I think I may have posted a list on this thread like a year ago as my first post, but in one year my taste in music has changed *so* much and I've been exposed to so much more music (such as Jeff Buckley and Berlin-trilogy David Bowie).
Here's my list that I wrote during Media Law class two days ago when I was thinking about my ten favorite albums.
1. The Queen is Dead - The Smiths 2. Kid A - Radiohead 3. Loveless - My Bloody Valentine 4. The Fragile - Nine Inch Nails 5. The Bends - Radiohead 6. Grace - Jeff Buckley 7. Revolver - The Beatles 8. Viva Hate - Morrissey 9. Power, Corruption & Lies - New Order 10. Medulla - Bjork
Just missed: 11. Low - David Bowie 12. Vespertine - Bjork 13. Poses - Rufus Wainwright 14. Meat is Murder - The Smiths 15. 81:03 - Antarctica 16. Agaetis Byrjun - Sigur Ros 17. War - U2 18. Exile in Guyville - Liz Phair 19. Substance - Joy Division 20. The Downward Spiral - Nine Inch Nails 21. Disintegration - The Cure 22. It Takes a Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back - Public Enemy 23. Rid of Me - PJ Harvey 24. A Grand Don't Come For Free - The Streets 25. Rufus Wainwright - s/t
