The Walkmen - You & Me
I had a stick of CareFree gum, but it didn't work. I felt pretty good while I was blowing that bubble, but as soon as the gum lost its flavor I was back to pondering my mortality.

This album sortof of washed over me the first few times, but as I continue to polish it I'm finding all kinds of amazing things. I think It's something I'm going to spend a lot of time with. I love "Four Provinces".

Picked up a couple of used ones for a good price: Nas - Illmatic (I've listened to this a couple of times and I can see why it's considered classic) GZA - Legend of the Liquid Sword (I've listened to this a couple of times and I can see why it's considered sub-par compared to Liquid Swords. Not bad though)

Not CDs, but got them on iTunes: Hercules and Love Affair - Hercules and Love Affair Blind (single with remixes) - Hercules and Love Affair You Belong (single with remixes) - Hercules and Love Affair Express Love and Rockets I'm a fanatic for Antony and the Johnsons, so Hercules was a natural purchase. I bought Seventh Dream of Teenage Heaven by Love and Rockets a few months ago and couldn't stop listening to it. So I decided to get some more. Thus, I've got high hopes for Express.

Pyramids - s/t Laura Marling - Alas, I Cannot Swim Elizabeth & the Catapult - s/t Kanye West - The College Dropout Scissor Sisters - s/t Kerli - Love is Dead Nine Inch Nails - Broken Analysis: Scissor Sisters is probably the best pop throwback album I heard this year. I've pretty much ignored West so and with all the praise I just decided I'd buy it. Kerli and Elizabeth & the Catapult are two good pop albums. I've been meaning to buy "Broken" forever; it was okay. Was expecting much more. Goodbye for now.
