I was away for a few weeks so I had to catch up on the latest releases. I bought:

"Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!" -- Nick Cabe & the Bad Seeds
"Accelerate" -- R.E.M.
"Rockferry" -- Duffy
"Do It!" -- Clinic
"Oracular Spectacular" -- MGMT
"Stainless Style" -- Neon Neon
"Consolers of the Lonely" -- The Raconteurs
"Hold on Now, Youngster" -- Los Campesinos
"Mountain Battles" -- The Breeders
"A Mad and Faithful Telling" -- DeVotchka
"Last Night" -- Moby
"Walk it Off" -- Tapes 'n Tapes
"The Dells Sing Dionne Warwicke's Greatest Hits" -- The Dells

So far, I have taken a pass on the new Sun Kil Moon, Supergrass, Teenagers and Foals.

If it counts, both Paste Magazine #41 & #42 showed up on the same day. So far I haven't found much new (that I haven't already heard) to like in their samplers. #41 had too much of a Dave Matthews sound going on.

Just wanted to chime in on the Ugly Casanova talk and say that I think it's Brock's 2nd best album after Moon & Antarctica. So many awesome songs, including some stunning laidback Americana pieces like "Hotchka Girls" and "Smoke Like Ribbons."

Why? - Elephant Eyelash

I'm really enjoying their new one and downloaded a few tracks from Elephant that I really liked, so I thought I would check it out.

It's excellent. I would describe it as a slightly less Hip Hop and beat oriented Alopecia. It is more dependant on melody and has wild instrumental flurishes. A lot of strings through out.

If you like Why? and are like me and have only ever heard Alopecia, you really need to check out this album.
