Mix a little folly with your plans: It is sweet to be silly at the right moment.

I bought all of the following tonight at the local independent music store, 20% off:

Used:
Brian Wilson - Smile
The Cardigans - Super Extra Gravity
Radiohead - Airbag/How Am I Driving EP
Radiohead - Pablo Honey

New:
Radiohead - Com Lag (2plus2isfive) EP

I held off buying Pablo Honey for a really long time because I didn't like "Creep." But I'm finding I like it better than I thought I would.

Also recently purchased:
Raya Yarbrough - s/t
Originally released in 2007, but re-released about two weeks ago. A really enjoyable jazz/pop album.

Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada - Godspeed You Black Emperor!

Young Liars - TV on the Radio

I bought those two because I really liked "Lift Your Skinny Wrists..." and "Return to Cookie Mountain", and hadn't heard anything else from either group. I'm loving both albums, a lot.

I bought these today:

Destroyer - Trouble in Dreams
She & Him - Volume One
Jason Collett - Here's to Being Here
Atlas Sound - Let the Blind Lead Those Who Can See but Cannot Feel

Decent haul at the shop last night:

Black Francis - Bluefinger
Weezer - Pinkerton (replacing the copy my brother took to Japan)
Feist - The Reminder
Bad Religion - Suffer
The Rolling Stones - Exile On Main Street (yes, I didn't own a copy of this.)

I had a stick of CareFree gum, but it didn't work. I felt pretty good while I was blowing that bubble, but as soon as the gum lost its flavor I was back to pondering my mortality.

The Knife - Silent Shout
Gnarls Barkley - St. Elsewhere

I downloaded these albums about a year ago, and finally decided to just go and buy them. I'm currently playing "We Share Our Mother's Health" as loud as I can. Cool
