I just mentioned the other day in his thread that Bowie is one of many artists on a long list of "stuff to buy" for me. I can move him down on the priority for awhile now, I guess. I've listened to it a couple of times, and it sounds very foreign and strange from anything I can recall. I also like it a lot. "Always Crashing in the Same Car" is amazing.
Also picked up Leonard Cohen's Songs of Love and Hate, which I haven't listened to yet.
"Always Crashing" is my favourite song off of Low. It's such a damned amazing album. I got lots of new-to-me Music in the last couple of weeks--I have about 7 CDs or so to add to my growing list since I joined these forums. I must say, I haven't really been disappointed with anything recommended to me so far. Let's hope it stays that way. Anyhow, seeing as I don't have the CDs I've gotten in front of me (at work), I'll post the list later on. (Me love new Music long time.)

I just got a copy of Love & Peace by Lisa Lynne and George Tortorelli. It’s such a beautiful mixture of the celtic harp and the bamboo flute…very ancient sounding, but also peaceful and tranquil. I’m enjoying it very much. Here are some samples (it looks like a blank page, but you have to scroll down a bit): http://www.newearthrecords.com/web/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=0&idproduct=1378

I got Subtle's Yell&Ice the other day. It's a remix EP with a ton of guest vocals. It's long though at nine tracks. and they are all strong. I really felt like it was going to be on my top ten for a little while, but it slowed down toward the end. The first three songs ("Falling" "Middleclass Haunt" and "Deathful") are amazing. The first 15 seconds of "Falling" is worth the price for the disk. If you liked anything about For Hero:For Fool check this out. It's a great companion disk from a band that is seriously pushing the envelop in so many ways, and doing so with style.
