I tend to go with loud, hyped-up music. Some grindcore will do, usually Nile or Cryptopsy. Some rap will do, usually Lil' Jon or Dead Prez or Jedi Mind Tricks. Some electronic music, usually Kid 606 or Aphex Twin, maybe Chemical Brothers or Daft Punk. Sometimes a little hard rock, say AC/DC's High Voltage or Queens of the Stone Age. If it's punk, I go with the Vandals, DK's or Dayglo Abortions. If all else fails to motivate me, a little Michael Jackson Off the Wall or Junior Senior will always come through!

My house cleaning music varies depending on my mood. Usually uptempo, but sometimes I like mellow cleaning music.

One fairly frequent choice: Primal Scream's best-of Dirty Hits. I'm not sure why...

If I want uptempo I go with early Metallica, Disturbed, Tool, System of a Down, Cradle of Filth, or Black Sabbath. IF I am uptempo but want rap I always go to Lil' Jon. But for those more relaxing times Queen, Pink Floyd, the newly discovered Wilco, and Led Zepplin are good.

When Megatron cleans his BioPod, he never strays far from The Chambers Brothers Greatest Hits, A Series of Sneaks by Spoon and Ministry’s Psalm 69.

How does that one compare to "Girls Can Tell"?

Megatron has not had the pleasure of hearing Girls Can Tell, but the Christmas gift-giving season is upon us (hint, hint).

Burnie, I might have to hook you up with my bro since you've invoked Lovecraft's "God" or, whatever the (literal) hell, it is, again. (I sure hope this has nothing to do with the answer to your riddle, O Screwed One! (only if it does!)

Daniel sounds more like Elvis Costello or Colin Newmann (of Wire), while Rossdale is an insufferable caricature of Kurt Cobain, complete with faux vocal tics. You have angered Megatron with your impudence and you are hereby commanded to listen to “Sixteen Stone” four times in a row as penance.

Yeah, but you've got to at least give him style points for landing the Mr. Gwen Stefani gig.

i did not mean to anger you mr megatron i just noticed a similar voice i am in no way saying that they even half as good as spoon i wouldnt even call it an influence since no indie rocker would ever listen to bush i think its just a mere coincidence since he sounds british and has a hoarse singing style , but even if he doesnt sound like gavin rossdale i still think its pretty weird that a rock band from austin texas they're singer sounds like hes british..........

Today when we cleaned we were playing Kings of Leon. I generally like something with energ, but not something overly aggressive.

Foo Fighters, Queens of the stone Age, Neil Young, White Stripes.

If I am going hip hop I am usually going older Outkast, Blackalicious or something like that.
