Im new to the forum (i apologize for making a new post before anyone replid my first) and am wondering why there isnt a classical music discussion forum. what am i missing
I cannot speak for the Editors' thinking when they set up these forums, but I would expect that they anticpated little interest in classical music from the public at large.
Unfortunately, nearly two years in, that's largely been the case, and I fear a classical section would likely be as moribund as the jazz topics.
It still occupies about a quarter of my listening hours, though, so I'm always game for intelligent chatter on the past four hundred years' development in the genre. Feel free to fire away here.
