The rating would depend upon the age of your squeeze. If she's 13 years old, I'd give your compilation a 9.2/10. If she's much older than that and has NOT lived her life in a bubble, then you've earned a 2.1/10. I mean, anyone who's vaguely interested in music probably knows most of those songs. What's the point in giving her a mix of well-known music?
I don't know, Lola. You might agree that a good mix can be so much more than an opportunity to sample new music. A well-considered segue can give one a whole new perspective on a song. In the case of Member 27's mix, for example, the segue of "Hallelujah" into "Little Red Corvette" is unexpected and very, very cool.

One word....ugh! I'd give it about a 3.5. How about peppering that sucker with some jump? A little "Honky Tonk Woman" (Stones) or "Stay With Me" (Faces)... Don't be afraid to break out of the politically correct cannon of compilation songs...
I would give it an 8.5. As mark f pointed out, it could have been longer. Why only 11 songs?
The fact that you took the time to create a custom CD for a girl says quite a lot about you, and I applaud your efforts. I especially like the White Stripes selection. Great choice!
That's a nice little collection, I'd say. Maybe a 7.5 or 8.0? Nothing overtly sexual, although there's a sex vibe going with the Stone Roses, Buckley, and Prince back-to-back-to-back.
The real question is: does she like being called a "chick"? I'm not the most politically correct person in the world (even though teaching at a college tends to make me temper my words) but I'm not sure how well "chick" goes over in the dating world today.
Na, sorry, I can't hang with any of these songs. I'm not a chick but I would be most under whelmed by this selection. "Drive my car"? as The Beatles song. NO,no,no. They did much better songs than this for whatever purpose you might have in mind. I would listen to this compilation once to see what was on it, and then give it the fling. 0/10 from me.
